I have been an active and loyal participant in the Festival since 1969 and served as a volunteer in the organization and the Festival in various capacities: Parade Marshall, Head of Security, working closely with Toronto Police Service and with professional Security services.
A member of Caribana Board of Directors. I was signed up as Caribana’s official photographer and was one of the representatives from Canada to travel with the Hong Kong team as in-house photographer on those trips to celebrate the Hong Kong New Year Festival 2004-2005.
My work as photographer and curator has been a significant contribution to the Festival. My skill and expertise in recording various aspects of the Festival operations, individuals and events through the years, has provided a lasting legacy.

My commitment and service as a volunteer extends into our wider community. I have worked closely with the Brampton City Hall where I did my first one-man exhibition. I assisted with the Brampton Steel Band Summer Camp Outreach programme. I am also Advisor/Director on the Peel Multicultural Council.
